Overdose Awareness Day is Aug. 31 - Show Your Support

Overdose Awareness Day is recognized nationally on August 31. 

The Bellevue Hospital will offer these events on August 30 to help raise awareness of the opioid epidemic. 

On August 30, 2019:

1)Wear jeans and/or Overdose Awareness T-Shirt (or purple shirt) with a free-will donation
•Donations will be collected in Human Resources
After-hours donations will be collected at the switchboard
•All other department dress-code rules apply
Proceeds will benefit the Foundation's Freedom From Addiction Fund

2)A Moment of Recognition and Remembrance at Noon
•In memory of all those lost to overdose
Those wanting to participate should meet at the cul-de-sac outside the Emergency Department Patient Entrance at Noon)

3)Facility Tours of Bellevue Recovery & Support Services (BRASS)
•1400 W. Main Street, Building 1, Suite D
•Tours will take place from 10:00 a.m. - Noon and 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
